The 2007–08 season was Arsenal’s 88th consecutive season in the top division of English football and 16th season in the Premier League. The club ended the league campaign in third position having led the table for two-thirds of the season. Arsenal made it into the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League but were eliminated on aggregate score against Liverpool.
