In enzymology a 2-hydroxyisoflavanone dehydratase (EC 4.2.1.105) is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction274′-trihydroxyisoflavanone daidzein + H2OHence this enzyme has one substrate 274′-trihydroxyisoflavanone and two products daidzein and H2O.This enzyme belongs to the family of lyases specifically the hydro-lyases which cleave carbon-oxygen bonds. The systematic name of this enzyme class is 274′-trihydroxyisoflavanone hydro-lyase (daidzein-forming).
