The 1983 German Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at Hockenheimring on August 7 1983.The race was won by René Arnoux driving a Ferrari with Andrea de Cesaris in an Alfa Romeo and Riccardo Patrese in a Brabham-BMW completing the podium. Niki Lauda was disqualified for reversing his car in the pits.
