The 1983 British Grand Prix (formally the XXXVI Marlboro British Grand Prix) was a Formula One motor race held at Silverstone on 16 July 1983. It was the ninth race of the 1983 Formula One season and the last British Grand Prix in which the race took place on a Saturday rather than the usual Sunday.
