1194 Aletta (1931 JG) is a main belt asteroid discovered on May 13 1931 by Cyril V. Jackson at the Union Observatory Johannesburg. It is named after the discoverer’s wife. The asteroid is roughly 55 km in diameter and has a low albedo.
