1158 Luda is a main belt asteroid orbiting the Sun. It is a member of the Maria family of asteroids. Approximately 19 kilometers in diameter it makes a revolution around the Sun once every 4 years. It completes one rotation once every 7 hours. It was discovered by Grigory Nikolaevich Neujmin at Simeis on August 31 1929. Its provisional designation was 1929 QF. It was later named in honor of the sister of the discoverer. Luda is a diminutive of Ludmilla.
