10171 Takaotengu (provisional designation: 1995 EE8) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Masanori Hirasawa and Shohei Suzuki at the Mount Nyukasa Station in Japan on March 7 1995. It is named after Takaotengu a legendary creature said to inhabit Mount Takao in Tokyo Japan.
