Zoropsidae is a family of uncommon somewhat wolf spider-like wandering cribellate spiders. They are also called false wolf spiders because of their similarites to wolf spiders. The eye arrangement is not like that of wolf spiders as the eyes are in two rows and are more equal in size. Little is known of their biology but they include about 65 species in 12 genera found primarily in Australia and South Africa. One species Zoropsis spinimana was accidentally introduced to the United States.
