Zhengzhou Metro (Chinese: 郑州轨道) is a rapid transit metro rail network under construction to serve urban and suburban districts of Zhengzhou municipality. The plans of Zhengzhou Metro line No. 1 and Zhengzhou Metro line No. 2 have been approved by National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) in February 2009. Construction of Line 1 started on June 6 2009. Line 2 started construction in December 28 2010. As planned these Lines 1 and 2 will be finished in 2013 and 2015 respectively.
