Zhao Jun (simplified Chinese: 赵骏; traditional Chinese: 趙駿; pinyin: Zhào Jùn; born December 12 1986 in Jinan Shandong) is a Chinese chess Grandmaster. In 2004 he became China’s 19th Grandmaster at the age of 17.Zhao plays for the Shandong chess club in the China Chess League (CCL). He is ranked No. 11 in China.He achieved his first GM norm at the February 2004 Aeroflot Open in Moscow where he scored 5/9 (with a performance rating of 2613).
