The ZB-47 was a submachine gun of Czechoslovak origin chambered in the 9×19mm Parabellum round fed from a 32 round magazine. The weapon was intended for tank and vehicle crews who being forced to operate in cramped spaces required compact weapon without protruding parts (e.g. magazine). It had an unconventional thumbhole grip (featured nowadays on FN P-90) and came with a fixed wood or metal retractable stock.
