Zarex was an American sweet drink concentrate. Zarex is a type of sweet fruit syrup that can either be mixed with water poured over shaved ice used in cupcakes or poured into alcoholic beverages. The Northeast was especially fond of this sweet drink but eventually it lost its popularity until it ended up disappearing. However two South Shore entrepreneurs are bringing Zarex along with their zebra mascot back to life with hopes of the drink rejuvenating success.
