Yves Mekongo Mbala (born July 25 1987) is a Cameroonian amateur basketball player currently playing collegiately in the United States. He is a 6 ft 7 in 210 lbs. forward originally from Yaoundé. He is a three-year starter for the La Salle Explorers of the Atlantic 10 Conference. During his 2008-09 junior year Mekongo was the Explorers’ leading rebounder pulling down six boards per game and third leading scorer scoring 10.4 points per game.
