Yu Qian (Chinese: 于謙; pinyin: Yú Qiān; Wade–Giles: Yu Ch’ien) (1398–1457) a native of Qiantang (modern-day Hangzhou Zhejiang province) was a Chinese Defence Minister during the Ming dynasty.
