Yegor Afanasyevich Borisov (Sakha and Russian: Егор Афанасьевич Борисов) (born August 15 1954) is a Russian politician of Yakut ethnicity who is serving as the president of the Sakha Republic a federal subject of Russia. He took office on May 31 2010 after Vyacheslav Shtyrov left office. He was previously prime minister of the Sakha Republic.
