The Yawkey Baseball League of Boston is a wooden bat baseball league comprising fifteen teams representing towns in and around Boston. The league is named for the former owner of the Boston Red Sox and Baseball Hall of Famer Tom Yawkey.The 2011 season marks the 21st year that the league has been named in honor of Thomas Austin Yawkey. The league comprises players and teams from various collegiate programs neighborhoods and multi-cultural backgrounds.
