Xanthohumol is a prenylated chalconoid from hops and beer. This prenylated chalconoid is not estrogenic. It has a range of biological properties with potential therapeutic utility.In preliminary research xanthohumol had free radical scavenging and anticancer properties immune-supporting activity and inhibited platelet aggregation.
