Wolf Ridge Ski Resort is a ski resort located near Mars Hill North Carolina. The area has twenty-three ski slopes and trails. Approximately 57% of the slopes are rated beginner 35% intermediate and 8% advanced. With a top elevation of 4600 feet (1400 m) Wolf Ridge has a maximum vertical drop of 700 feet (210 m). The slopes are accessed by four chair lifts and two carpet lifts. Typical of North Carolina ski areas Wolf Ridge relies primarily on man-made snow for its slopes.
