In this Burmese name Mahn is an honorific.Mahn Win Maung (Burmese: မန်းဝင်းမောင် [máɴ wɪ́ɴ màʊɴ]; 17 April 1916 – 4 July 1989) was the third president of Union of Burma (Myanmar). He was appointed president by Prime Minister U Nu in March 1957. He served for five years until 2 March 1962 when General Ne Win’s military coup d’état ousted Nu’s government.
