Wilmington Downs is a Site of Special Scientific Interest which is part of the South Downs in East Sussex England. The area is of biological interest due to its rare chalk grassland habitat.The area is also of archaeological interest with the Long Man of Wilmington carved into its surface. In addition there are earthworks from stone age flint mines.
