The Willkapampa mountain range (Aymara and Quechua hispanicized spelling Vilcabamba) lies in the Cusco Region in Peru. It extends between 13°10′ and 13°27’S. and 72°30′ and 73°15’W for about 85 km. It is located in the provinces Anta La Convención and Urubamba.The highest mountain in the range is Sallqantay at 6271 metres (20574 ft).
