William Scot Wilson (1806–1888) was an Anglican bishop in Scotland in the 19th century.Wilson was born in Pittenweem in 1806. He was ordained in 1827 and he was the rector of Holy Trinity Ayr for over 50 years and the Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway from 1859 until his death in Ayr in 1888.)
