William Swinden Barber FRIBA (29 March 1832 – 26 November 1908) was a Gothic Revival and Arts and Crafts architect specialising in modest fairly simple but finely furnished Anglican churches. These Barber churches often had crenellated bell-towers. He was based in Brighouse and Halifax West Yorkshire England producing works there and elsewhere in the UK. At least fifteen of the surviving examples of his work are now Grade II listed buildings (see infobox right).
