William Schofield (February 14 1857 – June 10 1912) was a United States federal judge.Born in Dudley Massachusetts Schofield received a LL.B. from Harvard Law School in 1883 and served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Horace Gray from 1883 to 1885. He was in private practice of law in Boston Massachusetts from 1885 to 1903 serving as an instructor at Harvard University from 1886 to 1892 and as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1899 to 1902.
