William Ramsey (fl. 1323 – died 1349) was an English Gothic architect descended from the De Ramsey family of master masons whose work can be found at Ramsey Abbey Norwich Cathedral Ely Cathedral and possibly also in Paris according to John Harvey. William Ramsey was responsible for the chapter house at Old St Paul’s Cathedral (1332 destroyed) an early example of Perpendicular Gothic and the presbytery of Lichfield Cathedral (1337).
