William Henry Sneed (August 27 1812 – September 18 1869) was an American attorney and politician active initially in Murfreesboro Tennessee and later in Knoxville Tennessee during the mid-19th century. He was a member of the United States House of Representatives for Tennessee’s 2nd congressional district during the Thirty-fourth Congress (1855–1857). In the months leading up to the Civil War he became a leader of Knoxville’s secessionist movement.
