William Hardy Murfree (1781–1827) was a member of the United States House of Representatives from North Carolina born in Hertford County North Carolina on October 2 1781.He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1801 where he studied law. He was admitted to the bar practiced in Edenton North Carolina.
