William Edward Brennan (10 September 1863 – 8 October 1937) was an Australian politician. He was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Council between 1925 and 1934 and a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1934 until 1935. He was a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) .Brennan was born and educated to elementary level in Wallsend New South Wales and at age 14 he commenced work as a coal-miner at Wallsend Colliery.
