The Wilbur Cross Medal is an award by the Yale Alumni Association for distinguished achievements in scholarship teaching academic administration and public service. The award is made to a small number (up to six) of individuals annually and was first awarded in 1966. The award is named after Wilbur Lucius Cross a Yale University dean.
