Well Grounded is a non-governmental organisation set up in 2010 to assist local NGOs working for the recognition and respect of the rights of forest dependent communities. The organisation is expected to initially support the work of groups in Africa mainly in the Congo Basin working with forest communities on issues related to rights to land and resources.Well Grounded’s work is innovative as they do not work with but service local groups to enable them achieve their goals.
