Welch Village is an American ski area near Red Wing Minnesota. The ski area was built by Leigh Nelson in 1965 and has grown considerably since then. It has a vertical elevation of approximately 360 feet (110 m). Its traditional opening time is on or around the third Saturday in November. Along with skiing snowboarding is also offered in this area. It is famous for the various trails provided which has the East and the West slopes. This is located near the Cannon River Valley.
