Wassily Ewgrafowitsch Jakowlew ( =Vasilij Jevgrafovitsch Jakovlev or Jakowlev or Jakowleff = B.E.) (1839-1908) was a Russian entomologist.He is not to be confused with Alexander Ivanovitsch Jakovlev another entomologist from Griffin GA.Jakowlew lived in Saint Petersburg but travelled extensively collecting insects in the Crimea Volga region and Turkestan until he finally travelled and settled in Griffin GA.
