Vitisin A is a resveratrol tetramer found in plants of the genus Vitis. It is a complex of two resveratrol dimers (+)-epsilon-viniferin and ampelopsin B.It shows an opposite effect to hopeaphenol on apoptosis of myocytes isolated from adult rat heart.
