The Virginia’s Eastern Shore AVA is an American Viticultural Area that includes a 70 miles (113 km) length of Virginia’s Eastern Shore and consists of the counties of Accomack and Northampton. The topography in this AVA is mostly level and ranges from sea level to 50 feet (15 m) above sea level. The area is located on the southern end of the Delmarva Peninsula.
