Vincenzo Seratrice the Elder (Turin 1851 – Lanuvio 1922) was an Italian painter mainly of genre paintings archeologist antiquarian and furniture maker.He was born to an aristocratic family with connections to the court of Savoy; his father worked with Count Cavour. Adventurous he abandoned his family and joined a traveling band of acrobats.
