Viking Håndballklubb is a Norwegian handball club from Stavanger. The clubs play its home matches in Stavanger Idrettshall. The team is coached by Gunnar Blombäck and they play in blue kits and blue shorts.It was founded in 1987 as it became independent from the multi-sports club IL Viking. In 2000 Viking HK and Stavanger IF’s handball department joined forces and founded the elite handball team Stavanger Håndball.
