Vignir Svavarsson (born 20 June 1980) is an Icelandic handballer currently playing for Handball-Bundesliga side GWD Minden. He started his career with Haukar Hafnarfjordur and has also played for Skjern Handbold in Denmark.Svavarsson has made 86 appearances for the Icelandic national handball team.
