The Vierde Klasse (English: Fourth Class) is the eight tier of football in the Netherlands and the sixth tier of Dutch amateur football. The league is divided into 70 division 26 played on Saturday and 44 on Sunday.Each division consists of 12 teams. The champions are promoted to the Derde Klasse the teams finishing 11th and 12th are relegated to the Vijfde Klasse. Each season is divided into a number of periods (Dutch: periodes).
