Currently aged 19 he attained the title of a Grandmaster (the highest attainable title in Chess) in January 2013 aged 18 years and 3 months. He is currently the 20th ranked junior player in the world and is among the top ten Chess players from India. His current World ranking is 310.He was born in Nasik on 24 October 1994 to Dr Santosh Gujrathi and Dr Nikta Santhosh Gujrathi.
