Verne R. Anderson (19 July 1937–October 1984) was a Canadian alpine ski competitor and coach. He was a member of Canada’s first national ski team competing in one Winter Olympics and was head coach of the Canadian team at a subsequent Winter Olympics.Anderson was born in Nelson British Columbia and was a member of Canada’s first national ski team formed in 1959.
