The vas deferens (plural: vasa deferentia) also called ductus deferens (Latin: carrying-away vessel; plural: ductus deferentes) is part of the male anatomy of many vertebrates; these vasa transport sperm from the epididymis to the ejaculatory ducts in anticipation of ejaculation.
