The University of New Mexico Hospital (locally known as either University Hospital or UNM Hospital) is a teaching hospital located in Albuquerque New Mexico north of The University of New Mexico’s Main Campus. It is the only Level I Trauma Center in the State of New Mexico and also houses the only Children’s Hospital and Burn Unit in the state.UNMH is the state’s sole source of 13 pediatric sub-specialties; is the state’s sole stroke center as designated by the Joint Commission.
