The student union one of several student organisations at the University of Melbourne Australia is divided into two parts. The University of Melbourne Student Union (UMSU) incorporated as University of Melbourne Student Union Inc. (UMSUi) provides representation for students. The service provision arm is Melbourne University Student Union Limited (MUSUL). UMSUi was incorporated on 17 November 2005 following approval by the Council of the University of Melbourne in October of that year.
