The 1960 United States presidential election in New Mexico took place on November 8 1960. This was the first year where all 50 current states were part of the United States presidential election. New Mexico voters chose four electors to represent them in the Electoral College who voted for President and Vice President.New Mexico was won by Massachusetts Senator John F. Kennedy by a narrow 1 point margin.
