The 1984 Presidential Election in Indiana took place on November 6 1984. President Reagan won this state by a large 23.99% margin. He carried every single county in the Hoosier state except for Lake County in the northwest corner. No Democratic candidate has won Indiana since 1964 until Obama broke this record in 2008.
