Voters chose 8 representatives or electors to the Electoral College who voted for President and Vice President.Colorado was narrowly won by Republican Senator Bob Dole of Kansas over incumbent Democratic President Bill Clinton of Arkansas. Dole won with a plurality of 45.80% of the vote to Clinton’s 44.43% a margin of 1.37%.
