The United States House of Representatives elections in 1992 coincided with the 1992 presidential election in which Democrats Bill Clinton and Al Gore were elected as President and Vice President respectively defeating Republican incumbent President George H. W. Bush and Vice President Dan Quayle.Despite this however the Democrats lost a net of nine seats in the House to the Republicans in part due to redistricting following the 1990 Census.
