Unirea Shopping Center is a large shopping centre located in Unirii Square Bucharest Romania. Opened in 1976 and enlarged in 1989 it was the largest department store in Communist Romania. Converted in 1990’s into a shopping centre the complex has a total area of 83971 square metres (903856 sq ft) and 1000 parking spaces.
