Union Pacific 1996 is a SD70ACe locomotive owned by Union Pacific Railroad (UP). It is the sixth locomotive to receive a commemorative paint scheme in honor of UP’s predecessor railroads as part of UP’s Heritage Series. It was unveiled on August 19 2006 and is currently operating in regular revenue service.
