Uni Girona Club de Basquet is a Spanish women’s basketball club from Girona. Founded in 2005 from the fusion of local clubs CE Santa Eugènia and CB Vedruna it is sponsored and named by the football club Girona FC.The team attained promotion for the Spanish First League in 2009 ending 5th in its first two seasons. In 2012 it made it into the 4-team Copa de la Reina and championship playoffs for the first time.In the 2012–13 season Girona will debut at EuroLeague Women.
